Em primeiro lugar gostaria de dedicar esta discografia a uma pessoa que é muito especial para mim e grande fã dessa extinta banda de Grunge, ela qual foi o principal motivo desse post.

Nirvana foi fundada no ano de 1986 em Aberdeen (Washington), nos Estados Unidos da América. O grupo se desfez em 1994 com a morte de seu líder e  vocalista, Kurt Cobain. Foram considerados como a maior banda grunge da história e uma das maiores da história do rock.
Sua canção mais famosa, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" está entre as 20 melhores músicas da história, além de ser considerada a segunda melhor música dos últimos 20 anos. O álbum Nevermind (1991) vendeu até 2009 cerca de 26 milhões de cópias e teve a melhor capa de disco da história da música, conforme pesquisa promovida pela revista eletrônica "Gigwise". O Nirvana vendeu aproximadamente 75 milhões de álbuns no mundo todo até hoje.
A formação final da banda contava com Kurt Cobain (Vocal e Guitarra), Krist Novoselic (Baixo), Dave Grohl (Bateria e Voz Secundária) e Pat Smear (Guitarra).

Banda formada na Suécia em 2.007.E contava com Dave Dalone e Eric Rivers nas guitarras,jona Tee no teclado,Jimmy Jay no baixo,Crash na bateria e o vocal Kenny Leckremo.Lançaram o primeiro álbum em 2.008 com o nome da banda e mostraram que mesmo sendo dessa época eles conseguiam fazer um Hard Rock a altura de bandas da época de outro do Hard Rock mas tbm combinam com o Aor,foi um álbum muito bom.Em 2.010 lançaram o ótimo Freedom Rock e assim como o primeiro álbum foi ótimo,a banda vem ganhando cada mais mais espaço e um maior destaque tanto que abriram o show da lendária banda Deep Purple que dispensa comentários,infelizmente o vocalista saiu da banda mas deixou esses dois trabalhos de ótima qualidade.

Hardline é uma banda criada pelos irmãos Johnny Gioeli e Joey Gioeli, que já havia tocado nas bandas Killerhit e Morena. A banda originalmente também incluía o guitarrista Neal Schon de Viagem e Inglês Bad, o baixista Todd Jensen (ex-Sequel), eo baterista Deen Castronovo.
O grupo foi comercializado como uma espécie de glam metal da banda, devido aos irmãos Gioelli ter cabelos longos e vestindo um estilo glam metal, mas seu som tinha muito em comum com o hard rock e AOR. A par dos grupos primeiras canções foram usadas no filme "Rapid Fire", estrelado por Brandon Lee, filho de mestre em artes marciais, Bruce Lee.O último álbum lançado é Leaving The End Open.

Vale a pena conferir sem preconceito,pra quem curte Metalcore/Post-Hc vale a pena e se é da geração 8-Bit vale mais a pena ainda!

Angelic Voices Calling e a sonoridade soa como uma mistura de Cradle of Filth com Childrem Of Bodom,Com intrumentais bem trabalhados,sem exageros de teclado mas tudo na medida certa.Em 2.003 lançaram seu primeiro álbum Cast Into Fields Of Evil Pleasure e continuaram mostrando um trabalho de qualidade.Em 2.006 foi a vez do lançamento do álbum The Second Skin Of Harlequim e mais uma vez mostraram um ótimo trabalho,porém de uma maneira mais madura,tanto nos vocais quanto no instrumental.Em 2.009 foi lançado o Ep. Three Nights In The Sewers Of Sodom porém está sendo aguardado o próximo álbum de mesmo nome.

Incrível banda de Gothic/Symphonic Metal formada em 2.003 na Holanda.A banda conta com Helena Michaelsen nos vocais,Jan Yrlund e John Stam nas guitarras,Gerry Verstreken no baixo,Steve Wolz na bateria e Audun Gronnestad nas orquestrações.A banda é realmente muito boa,a sonoridade vai da parte melódica até quase uma Ópera por conta dos vocais de Helena.Aos amantes de Gothic e Symphonic Metal essa banda com toda certeza é uma ótima indicação e não perde nada pro Nightwish,é realmente uma ótima banda que lançou seu primeiro álbum The Ancient Dance Of Qetesh em 2.004 e é um álbum incrível,realmente muito bom.Em 2.007 foi lançado o segundo álbum da banda Queen Of Light e conseguiu ser melhor que o primeiro e é realmente um álbum fantástico,seguindo o ótimo trabalho realizado no primeiro álbum mas um pouco mais amadurecido o que ficou sensacional.A banda não lançou mais nada desde então, agora resta esperar por algo novo.

A banda foi formada em 1.990 em Gothenburg na Suécia.E no início seu som era mais um Death Metal Melódico e apresentava uma sonoridade diferente da apresentada hoje em dia.O primeiro álbum lançado pela banda foi o Lunar Strain que foi lançado em 1.994 e logo após lançaram o Subterranean e que mais tarde foram relançados os dois juntos.Em 1.995 o fodástico Anders Fridén que era no Dark Tranquility e tbm no Ceremonial Oath assume os vocais da banda e em 1.996 eles lançam seu segundo álbum o The Jester Race que foi muito importante para o Death Melódico em geral e tbm lançaram o ep Black Ash Inheritance que também foram relançados juntos mais tarde.Em 1.997 eles lançam Whoracle que é considerado por muitos como o melhor álbum deles,em1.999 a banda lançou o álbum Colony ( que é o meu preferido XD) e que começou a mostrar algumas mudanças em relação a sonoridade da banda que começava a crescer cada vez mais e se tornar cada vez mais grandiosa ganhando fãs no mundo todo.Em 2.000 foi lançado Clayman,um ótimo álbum que recebeu muitos elogios e que fez a banda crescer ainda mais.Em 2.002 a banda lançou Reroute To Remain que desagradou alguns fãs antigos porém conseguiu atingir outro tipo de público.Em 2.004 a banda lançou o Soundtrack To Your Escape que fez com que muitos fãs acreditassem que a banda estaria acabando pois apresentaram uma sonoridade ainda mais diferente que por algumas vezes foi até comparado com o New Metal,mas que na verdade foi o inicio de uma fase mais ''alternativa'' da banda,que em 2.006 lançou o álbum Come Clarity que marcou um pouco retorno das raízes da banda.E foi em 2.008 que a banda lançou o álbum A Sense Of Purpose que é um álbum bem alternativo digamos assim mas que não deixa de ser o mesmo in Flames fodástico de antes,e a banda segue firme e forte porém sem nenhum álbum novo lançado até agora.

Iron Maiden é uma banda  britânica  de Heavy Metal, formada em 1975 pelo baixista  Steve Harris, ex-integrante das bandas Gypsy's Kiss e Smiler. Originária de Londres, foi uma das principais bandas do movimento musical que ficou conhecido como NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal). O nome "Iron Maiden" foi inspirado em um instrumento de tortura medieval que aparece no filme O Homem da Máscara de Ferro. Esse também era o apelido da ex-primeira ministra britânica  Margaret Thatcher, que aparece nas capas dos compactos "Women in Uniform" e "Sanctuary".

Iron Maiden é uma das mais importantes e bem sucedidas bandas de toda a história do heavy metal, tendo vendido milhões de álbuns registrados em todo o mundo. A banda têm diversas canções baseadas em lendas, livros, histórias  e filmes, entre as quais The Phantom of the Opera, The Wicker Man, The Prisoner, Stranger in a Strange Land - que é um romance de ficção científica de 1961, escrito por Robert A. Heinlein, Murders In The Rue Morgue, Flight of Icarus, Where Eagles Dare, Rime of the Ancient Mariner - baseada no poema de Samuel Coleridge -, To Tame a Land - da série de ficção científica Duna, de Frank Herbert - e The Trooper - canção baseada no romance The Charge of The Light Brigade. Outros temas bastante recorrentes nas músicas da banda são ocultismo, assassinato e escuridão, por exemplo, nas músicas Murders in the Rue Morgue e Innocent Exile e nas capas dos álbuns Sanctuary, Women in Uniform, Iron Maiden e Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter.

Iron Maiden na verdade foi a primeira banda de Metal que ouvi, começando com chave de ouro no mundo do Metal, rs.

Ah, não poderia deixar de citar o adorado mascote Eddie the Head. Ele aparece em quase todas as capas dos álbuns do Iron Maiden. Eddie é originalmente criação de Derek Riggs, mas já teve traços de vários artistas, como Melvyn Grant no álbum Fear of the Dark. Ele também estrelou um jogo de tiro chamado Ed Hunter, além de diversas histórias em quadrinhos.
